Wow, the poses and subtle gestures are just perfect. It looks like any minute now she's going to reach over and push him away. The expressions are amazing too. And that's just the characters; the background and the whole setting is just fantastic. It's a bit busy, but no busier than the average person's house would be, I think (unless you are an extreme minmalist or live in a dorm-hotel like me- heh). The patterns you used create excellent texture when working with such a 2D style and the color scheme- especially between the warm inside and cooler outside- is just great. There's nothing not to love here (except maybe the guy's attitude?)
